Overview
Six of Tanzania's most rewarding destinations fill this 10-day itinerary: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Lake Natron, the central Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Eyasi. The route mixes classic wildlife viewing with striking, less-visited landscapes.
Lake Natron, known for its dramatic red-tinted water, adds a bold change from the standard Northern Circuit. Lake Eyasi brings a chance to meet the Hadzabe, one of the last hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa, giving the trip a cultural side next to the wildlife-focused days.
Arusha is both the start and end point, and experienced driver-guides accompany you throughout.
Our Lake Natron guide has more on that stop, or contact us to book this itinerary.

Day by Day (10 days)
Set off from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, famous for large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.
Spend a full day on game drives across Tarangire, which is especially good for elephant sightings along the Tarangire River.
Travel on to Lake Manyara National Park and spend the afternoon viewing game. It is famous for its tree-climbing lions and abundant birdlife.
Head north to Lake Natron, famed for its red-tinged water and the dramatic backdrop of the volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai rising above it.
Leave Natron and drive to the Serengeti, where game viewing begins as soon as you enter the park's boundaries.
Spend a full day on game drives in the central Seronera area of the Serengeti, home to resident lion prides.
One more day to explore other parts of the central Serengeti.
Drive from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and on arrival spend a full day viewing game on the crater floor.
Head to Lake Eyasi, where the Hadzabe live, among the last hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa, and share in a real cultural exchange.
A final relaxed morning precedes the drive back to Arusha, where your onward departure begins.
