Overview
Three days gives you a focused introduction to Kenya's Maasai Mara: enough time for solid game drives and a real sense of how dense the reserve's wildlife is, without committing to a longer combined Kenya-Tanzania trip.
Predator sightings in the Maasai Mara stay strong even outside migration season, since the reserve holds high densities of lion, cheetah and leopard that do not depend on the migrating herds. If your dates happen to coincide with the migration's presence in the Mara (typically July through October), that is a bonus on top of game viewing that is already reliable.
As a short break, it works well on its own, or as an add-on to a Nairobi stopover or a longer regional trip.

Day by Day (3 days)
In the morning you set out from Nairobi, descending the escarpment and crossing the floor of the Great Rift Valley to reach Maasai Mara Game Reserve by lunchtime. Afternoon game drives in the park go in search of Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Buffalo and the other Big five members, plus further animals. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge 3 Days Masai Mara Safari.
Following breakfast, you spend the full day in the park with a packed lunch, looking for its popular residents: the well-known predators and their prey such as the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippos and the dangerous Crocodiles. You visit the Mara river, where you will witness the Wildebeest crossing the Mara River; the Wildebeest migration is one of the seven wonders in the world. Meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge afterward.
Leave the camp in the morning and drive north, watching game along the way. You stop at Narok town, where you can buy a souvenir or have a cup of tea, and arrive back by late afternoon.
