Overview
Covering three of the Northern Circuit's most accessible parks, Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara, this 4-day itinerary builds in an arrival day so you can settle into Arusha before the safari proper starts.
After you land at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, we meet you and transfer you to Arusha for an overnight stay and a briefing on the days ahead. If you arrive early, short optional activities are available. The safari days after that are paced so all three parks get proper coverage without feeling rushed.

Day by Day (4 days)
When you land at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, our safari expert and driver greet you and give a short overview of the days ahead. You are then transferred to Arusha to rest and spend the night, getting ready for the safari. Should you arrive early, short optional tours of waterfalls, villages, or the town itself are available. Overnight at Planet Lodge or equivalent.
Leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park, which is known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, especially along the Tarangire River. Game drives fill the day across the park's varied habitat. Overnight near the park.
Drive on to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at Lake Manyara National Park on the way to see its birdlife and tree-climbing lions. The night is spent on the crater rim, with views down into the caldera below.
A morning of game viewing on the crater floor, in one of Africa's most concentrated wildlife areas, gives you a real chance of seeing all of the Big Five. After that, the afternoon drive returns you to Arusha for your onward departure.
