Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO).
You are picked up and transferred to Arusha.

Expect frequent sightings of lions, leopards, and cheetahs too.

The Great Wildebeest Migration is a major highlight (seasonal, around July to October), when vast herds pass through the area. Predators follow the herds, creating remarkable chances to witness hunts and interactions. Lions, cheetahs, and leopards are especially active at this time.
Expect to see giraffes, elephants, zebras, and wildebeests.
Other animals such as hyenas, jackals, and servals are part of the ecosystem too.
Birdlife stays diverse, with species like secretary birds, ostriches, and vultures.
Bear in mind that various factors, including migration patterns and natural behaviors, influence what wildlife you see. Your guides will do their best to give you the best chances of observing these incredible animals in their natural habitats.

Ngorongoro Crater is a unique ecosystem and a natural enclosure for varied wildlife.
You have a high chance of seeing lions, among them the famous tree-climbing lions.
Wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles are present in large numbers.
Rhinos (both black and white) live here too, though they're fairly rare.
Hippos and water birds are found around the crater's lakes.
