Nine-Day Uganda Safari: Bwindi Gorillas and Queen Elizabeth

⏱9 Days 📍Tanzania 👤1-7 people 💰From $3,400 USD*

Overview

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Park are the two stops on this 9-day Uganda itinerary, which blends gorilla trekking with true savanna safari time. It is a well-rounded first look at how Uganda differs from a classic Kenya or Tanzania safari.

At Queen Elizabeth, boat safaris on the Kazinga Channel bring you to the shoreline, where hippo and elephant gather in large numbers, and regular game drives cover the park's open sections. Back in Bwindi, the gorilla trekking days are the highlight, a forest-based encounter unlike the rest of the trip.

Because permits can run short, we suggest booking this itinerary a good while before you travel.
