Luxury accommodation meets a Northern Circuit safari on this 5-day itinerary, designed for true comfort: private game drives, well-appointed lodges and tented camps, and an unhurried pace that leaves room to enjoy each park.
Days usually cover the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, timed to catch whichever stage of the migration is underway on your travel dates. A visit to a nearby Maasai village often fills the final morning, before the return transfer to Arusha.
As a complete short luxury safari this length works well, and it also makes a good wildlife half for a longer trip that adds a Zanzibar beach stay.

Day by Day (5 days)

Leave Arusha in the morning for Lake Manyara. An afternoon game drive follows, then dinner and the night at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. Meals: lunch box and dinner.
Once breakfast is finished, set off for Serengeti, passing through Olduvai Gorge, where the Leakey family found fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back almost two million years. Meals and overnight stay at Serengeti Sopa Lodge. All meals are included.
Spend the whole day on the Serengeti plains looking for the wildlife you may have missed on the previous game drive, with game drives in both the morning and afternoon. Meals and overnight are at Serengeti Sopa Lodge, and all meals are included.
Following breakfast, a 4-wheel drive vehicle takes you 2000ft down into the crater, where you have a picnic lunch. You then climb back up to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight. All meals are included.
Following breakfast, visit the Masai Village, then drive on to Arusha.
