Overview
Big-cat photography is the purpose of this itinerary. We put time at established lion, leopard and cheetah territories ahead of covering lots of ground, since waiting patiently at the right spot reliably produces better pictures than hopping between sightings.
Where possible, drives are timed for golden hour in vehicles fitted out for camera work, not ordinary game-viewing ones. We choose guides for their knowledge of tracking the Serengeti's resident predators, beyond simple familiarity with the park.
The trip ends with a transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.

Day by Day (5 days)
You land at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), and we arrange a private transfer to Moivaro Coffee Lodge in Arusha, where you are free for the rest of the day. The lodge sits in a lovely spot on a coffee farm and is an ideal place to get ready for your adventure.
Overnight and dinner at Moivaro Coffee Lodge, on a half board basis
Have breakfast at Moivaro Lodge in the morning. Game drive en route to the great Serengeti Plains via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Following a picnic lunch, continue game viewing in central Serengeti National Park around Seronera, or follow the direction of the migration.
Full board, with dinner and overnight at Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp
What you see will depend on the season and where the herds are migrating, but you can expect wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffe, zebras, monkey, baboons, hippos, rhino, various antelope and a multitude of birds.
Overnight and dinner at Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp: full board
Start with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, then enjoy a picnic lunch on the way to Ngorongoro Crater. This afternoon you descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the crater floor for your tour. You will explore the forested areas where monkeys and elephants live, the lakeside where flamingos may be seen, and the open savannah where lions hunt. A picnic lunch is served inside the crater.
Overnight and dinner at Kia Lodge: half board
Transfer from the lodge to Kilimanjaro International Airport, in time for your onward flight.
